design engineers have a reputation for developing innovative solutions
particularly in the areas of seismic design of column and vessels.
Computer aided
design analysis and draughting is used to ensure timely and
consistently accurate results. Engineering maintains contacts with a
variety of design groups in different disciplines and specialist fields
to allow complete designs to be offered.
Engineering supports includes stress analysis of structures, piping systems, flange details, nozzles and pressure vessels.
Robt. Stone's
design engineers routinely work to such accepted and widely used
standards as BS806, ASME B31.1 and B31.3 for pipe work, API 650 and
BS2654 for storage tanks, PD5500 , ASME VIII and AS1210 for pressure
vessels, combined with Business Development Manager 3274 and TEMA for
shell and tube heat exchangers.
