Tenix Robt Stone have developed and patented a unique process for hydro formed products. One such product is our stainless steel wine barrels, which were developed to provide improved aging characteristics for unique varieties of wine without oak influence or oxidation. This technique produces wine with more complexity and richer flavours, due to the greater interactions with the lees. The longevity of the Stainless Steel Wine Barrels also offer substantial lifecycle cost savings.

DESIGN
Our stainless steel wine barrels are designed to fit into standard wine barrel racks. Lifting rings are now fitted to each end of the barrel for easy of handling. Finite element analysis has been used as a design tool to ensure the integrity of the wine barrels under static and dynamic loads.

SIZE
225 litre capacity Wine Barrels are available off the shelf. These have similar dimensions to traditional oak barrels. However custom sizes can be made to order to suit client requirements.

MATERIALS
Wine barrels are designed and manufactured using either 304 or 316 stainless steel to suit the clients requirements.

FABRICATION
Our stainless steel wine barrels re fabricated using patented technology for hydro-formed products. The barrels are effectively “blown” into shape using internal water pressure. This provides smooth, crevice free surfaces ideal for hygienic applications such as winemaking.
